Soapnut/ LaundryTree Review and Contest for Starter Kit!!

Okay, I have been slowly trying to introduce more natural product to my home and I have just found one I am sticking to! I discovered a great website called LaundryTree that offers Soapnut. I was very skeptical when I received these. I gave half to my mom and took half for myself, since my mom is the laundry diva I thought I needed her opinion on them, but I don’t! I did my first load of laundry with them tonight and oh my goodness can I just tell you how soft my comforter and sheets are! Honestly! I did not get any essential oils so my laundry has no scent, but still smells fresh and clean somehow.

SoapNuts are actually a fruit from a tree grown in Nepal, India, and Indonesia. They have been used for centuries to clean all kinds of fabrics. Let’s talk about uses for these little guys now! Okay, I admit to only using them in my laundry so far but LaundryTree has a huge list of alternative uses for them. Some of the neatest ideas in my opinion are using them as a jewelry cleaner, shampoo and glass cleaner! This little nut is almost all you will need to clean your whole house!

Now let’s talk about price. Think about how much money it cost you on detergents for a family. I know for me, I spend $6 every two weeks to wash my clothes. I probably do ten loads in those two weeks. That is about 0.60 a load. With Soapnut if you purchase the largest sized bag for $29 you get 150 loads out of it! That averages out to less than .20 a load! What a savings!!

As you know, natural products are better for skin conditions such as eczema and skin sensitivity. SoapNuts are no different. They are wonderful for any skin condition, and as I mentioned before make your laundry feel so soft and fluffy!

WIN IT!!
I’m sold, how about you?

Would you like a chance to win your very own Soapnuts? LaundryTree is offering one winner a starter kit which includes 100grams of Soapnut which allows you to wash about 40 loads of laundry. You also get a 1 ounce scent of your choice, and a wash bag.

To be entered to win, I need you to head on over to LaundryTree and tell me which scent you would chose with your starter kit. Ends on 12/7 10PM EST. Please be sure to leave a valid email addy.

  1. How interesting! I'm wondering do these dissolve or do you have to pick them out of the washer when your load is finished? I would love to try these! The Ocean Breeze sent would be my first choice! Thanks Paige!
